On June 25, J.Y. Park, founder of JYP Entertainment, celebrated the rising success of the company’s newest boy group KickFlip, who recently won the Rookie of the Year award at the '34th Seoul Music Awards.' He shared a congratulatory message on his social media along with a photo of the group.
"Congratulations on the Rookie Award! This is just the beginning, so don’t rush. Take things step by step. Congratulations to WeFlip too," Park wrote, referring to KickFlip’s official fandom.
The photo shows KickFlip members sitting around a round dining table with Park, enjoying a meal. Outside the window, a forest can be seen, and the spacious room features large speakers and a cozy atmosphere. The location was revealed to be Park’s home, where he hosted the dinner to celebrate the group's award.
KickFlip shared their appreciation through their official channel. "Thank you so much for inviting us. The meal was absolutely delicious. Thanks to your support, we were able to debut and meet our fans, WeFlip. We are always grateful," they wrote. They continued by saying, "We will keep your words in mind and continue to work hard moving forward. From all of us at KickFlip."
One member also left a playful comment, saying, "Please promise to invite us again. The food was amazing and your house was incredible. Thank you again for having us."
KickFlip made their debut in January with their first mini album 'Flip it, Kick it!' and recently released their second mini album 'Kick Out, Flip Now!' Their performance earned them the Rookie of the Year award at the 'Seoul Music Awards' held on June 21 at Inspire Arena in Incheon.
In their acceptance speech, KickFlip said, "We’re so thankful to our fans, WeFlip, who give us strength. Your support and love push us to deliver even better energy through our performances. We will continue to grow and achieve more, so please keep cheering for us. Thank you."
