Actress Hyeri marks her birthday with a meaningful donation.
On June 10th KST, Sublime, the agency of actress Hyeri, announced that she had donated 50 million KRW (approximately $37,000 USD) to the Children’s Hospital at Asan Medical Center in Seoul in honor of her birthday, continuing the charitable tradition she began last year. The donation will be used to support underprivileged children and medically vulnerable groups.
Hyeri first contributed to the hospital in June 2023, and in March 2024, she also took part in relief efforts to aid residents affected by large-scale wildfires in Ulsan, North Gyeongsang, and South Gyeongsang provinces.
Since 2016, Hyeri has consistently supported those in need, including donations to The Community Chest of Korea (Love Fruit), aid for the Daegu Seomun Market fire, the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, UNICEF Korea, COVID-19 support, and international disaster relief.
Each year on her birthday, Hyeri chooses to spread kindness. She shared:
“I hope to be of some help to those suffering from financial hardship or unexpected disasters. I want to pass on the love I’ve received, in hopes that it brings happiness to others.”
Meanwhile, Hyeri recently wrapped up her fan meeting in Seoul on June 7 and is set to continue her 10-city Asia tour.
