Uber Taxi Korea has released a second video for its “Go Out And Play” campaign featuring Girls’ Generation members Taeyeon, Sooyoung, and Tiffany.
On June 4, Uber Taxi announced that it is running the "GOAP: Go Out And Play" campaign to encourage modern city dwellers to enjoy life by riding Uber Taxis.
The first video, released in May, showed Sooyoung and Tiffany convincing Taeyeon to step out of the house. The campaign encouraged viewers to leave comments, and selected comments were displayed as outdoor ads in key locations around Seoul. The video surpassed 2 million views within a day of release.
In the second video, Taeyeon finally leaves the house and joins Sooyoung and Tiffany for an outing in an Uber Taxi. Both videos can be found on Uber Taxi’s official Instagram page.
Uber Taxi also announced a special promotion alongside the videos.
By entering the promo code “놀러가자” (“Go Out and Play”) under “Account > Wallet > Add Promo Code” in the Uber app, users can receive a discount coupon worth up to 50% (maximum 10,000 KRW (7.33 USD), usable twice). The coupon is valid through June 15.
