
Eric Nam was honored with the prestigious Voice of Mental Health Award at The Jed Foundation’s (JED) annual gala, held on June 4 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.
The event brought 650 guests and raised more than 1.6 million USD in support of JED’s mission to protect emotional health and prevent suicide among teens and young adults nationwide.
The gala recognized a group of influential individuals and organizations who have used their voices to champion mental health awareness and education. Among them, Eric Nam stood out for his unwavering commitment to destigmatizing mental health in the entertainment industry and beyond.
Eric Nam shared, "Mental health is universal; it impacts how every one of us shows up in the world. Prioritizing self-care and valuing our mental health as much as our physical health is essential to being the best version of ourselves. There should be no shame in nurturing all aspects of our well-being."
