Former national rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon Jae has launched her own YouTube channel, marking a new chapter in her life.

On May 28, Son took to her social media story to share the news, writing, “Actually, it’s my birthday today. As a birthday gift to myself, I’m starting a big challenge. As a rookie YouTuber and a new mom, I’ll do my best. Please support me.”

The YouTube channel, named after herself, features a brief introduction that reads, “Hello, sunbaenims! I’m rookie mom Son Yeon Jae. I’ll be grateful for all your advice. Please take good care of me!”

More and more celebrities, including Ko Hyunjung, Han Gain, Lee Minjung, and Ko Soyoung, have recently opened YouTube channels under their own names, using the platform to actively communicate with fans.

Born in 1994, Son Yeonjae married a financial professional nine years her senior in 2022 and welcomed a son in February of last year. She is currently focused on nurturing the next generation of rhythmic gymnasts.
