Kim Jong Kook says he's cured of his "plastic bag hoarding habit" after buying a home worth 6.2 billion KRW.
On the May 25 broadcast of SBS variety show 'Running Man,' i-dle's Miyeon and Soyeon appeared as guests to promote their new song "Good Thing."
During the opening, Yoo Jae Suk brought up Kim Jong Kook’s recent home purchase and jokingly said, "There were comments saying, 'Did he buy it by collecting plastic bags?'"
The joke referred to a past episode in which Kim Jong Kook was shown storing large amounts of plastic bags on his veranda, a moment that had drawn public attention at the time.
Acknowledging the reference, Kim Jong Kook laughed and said, "People really said that. They were like, 'He collected all those bags and bought a house.'"
He went on, "After that, I actually fixed the habit. Now, when a plastic bag comes in, I head to the veranda and go, 'Forget it!' (and throw it out). The habit is cured," he said with a lighthearted confession about the change.
