
MBC’s popular variety show 'Hangout with Yoo' is undergoing a cast change as Park Jin Joo and (Mijoo) Lee Mi Joo step down from the program. The show will continue with a revamped lineup featuring Yoo Jae Suk, HaHa, Joo Woo Jae, and Lee Yi Kyung as a four-member team.
The production team of 'Hangout with Yoo' announced, “After discussions with the production staff earlier this year, Park Jin Joo and Lee Mi Joo have decided to leave the show, with their final filming day on May 22. Their last episode will air on May 31, where they will say their goodbyes to the viewers.”
Lee Mi Joo joined the show as an official member in August 2021, followed by Park Jin Joo in September 2022. Both brought vibrant energy and enthusiasm, greatly contributing to the program’s dynamic atmosphere. Park Jin Joo impressed audiences with her singing skills and comedic talent, while Lee Mi Joo charmed viewers with her lively and candid personality as the youngest member, spreading laughter and vitality.
The production team expressed gratitude, stating, “After considering their future activities together, we mutually agreed to part ways with warm support. We sincerely thank Park Jin Joo and Lee Mi Joo for illuminating 'Hangout with Yoo' during their time on the show.”
Moving forward, 'Hangout with Yoo' will be led by Yoo Jae Suk, HaHa, Joo Woo Jae, and Lee Yi Kyung. The four will leverage their unique personalities and strong teamwork to continue driving the program’s success.
MBC’s 'Hangout with Yoo' airs every Saturday at 6:30 PM KST.
