Lee Sangmin, who recently remarried after 20 years, will be holding a wedding afterparty on JTBC’s variety show 'Knowing Bros'.
On May 28, the production team of Knowing Bros announced, “Kim Jihyun, Chae Rina, Kim Jin, and Lee Jihye will appear on the show to congratulate Lee Sangmin, who recently registered his marriage.”
Kim Jihyun and Chae Rina were fellow members of Roo’ra alongside Lee Sangmin, while Kim Jin and Lee Jihye are from the groups Diva and S#arp, respectively—both of which were produced by Lee. The four have maintained a long-standing friendship with him over the years.
The episode will feature a special wedding celebration for Lee Sangmin, complete with congratulatory performances by his close friends and the Knowing Bros cast. Other special guests will also make appearances to celebrate the occasion. The broadcast is scheduled to air sometime in June.
Lee Sangmin was previously married to Lee Hyeyoung in 2004 but divorced in 2005. Hyeyoung remarried in 2011 and has expressed support for Sangmin’s new marriage. Lee and his new partner, who is 10 years younger, began dating earlier this year and became legally married on April 30 through a marriage registration, without a formal wedding ceremony.
