Kyuhyun is receiving backlash from Korean netizens following his recent appearance on Netflix's 'Devil's Plan.'

Earlier in the series, Kyuhyun received a favorable response from viewers, being praised for his clever gameplay. However, as the show progressed, his actions sparked backlash with viewers accusing him of being rude, manipulative, and lacking integrity in the survival game show.

Many viewers slammed Kyuhyun for engaging in "politics" rather than focusing on solving the puzzles, which is the core element of the game. Many viewers pointed out that instead of showcasing his intelligence, Kyuhyun seems more interested in forming and breaking alliances to serve his own survival.

One netizen wrote, "Other than finding the clock, what did Kyuhyun actually do? He was just busy with political maneuvering and cliques. Never come on a survival show again."

Also, another latest point of criticism has been his attitude toward fellow contestant Kang Ji Young. Several viewers found his tone condescending and unnecessarily aggressive, with one saying, “What’s with the way he talks to her? Does he owe her money or something?” Others added, “He's been consistently rude to her throughout the game; it’s hard to watch.”

Another major complaint is Kyuhyun’s inconsistent gameplay. Netizens cited instances where he would form alliances to eliminate a contestant, only to change targets later when it suited him. Another netizen questioned, "He said he wanted to take down Hyun Joon, then suddenly turned on Hyun Gyu instead. Why even make alliances if he’s just going to flip whenever he wants?" 

Many viewers expressed disappointment in his attempts to justify his actions. They are criticizing the singer for tainting his image on the show and ruining his public reputation.
