Despite undergoing emergency surgery just two days earlier, Jo Se Ho showed unwavering dedication by joining the filming of '2 Days & 1 Night'.
The May 25 episode of KBS2’s '2 Days & 1 Night' Season 4 followed the cast on a scenic getaway to Yeosu, a coastal city in South Jeolla Province known for its romantic charm.
During the episode’s opening, the cast exclaimed, “We’re in big trouble—this is a crisis for Korean variety shows!”
The concern stemmed from Jo Se Ho’s recent health issue. He shared, “My immune system’s been weakened lately, and I developed a severe infection in my lymph nodes. I had to undergo surgery just two days ago.”
When Kim Jong Min expressed surprise, saying, “You didn’t need to come,” Jo replied with a nervous laugh, “I was afraid something even worse might happen if I didn’t.”
Adding a touch of humor, Jo Se Ho was reminded of a previously agreed-upon pledge to enter the sea. When DinDin joked, “You can disinfect the wound in the ocean,” Jo Se Ho quickly responded, “If I go into the water now, it’ll be a disaster.”
Jo Se Ho recently tied the knot in October 2023, marrying a non-celebrity woman nine years his junior.
