In the 10th episode of ENA's 'Choi Hwa Jung and Kim Ho Young's I've Missed You,' actor Heo Sung Tae, along with Lee Sang Yi, appeared as its guests.
In response to Hwa Jung's question about drinking, they both indicated they had chosen to abstain from alcohol.
Heo Sung Tae shared, "It's been a month since I quit smoking. For alcohol, I quit for five months once last year and now I'm on my second month again."
He continued by sharing that 30% of the reason he quit smoking and drinking is Sang Yi, adding, "When we were filming a movie together, we would drink together and have deep conversations. But when Lee Sang Yi said he was quitting drinking, he restrained himself immediately. Even though he's like my younger brother, he has a maturity that I don't have. Whenever I felt withdrawal symptoms, I thought of Sang Yi."
Hwa Jung then asked: "Since you've talked about it on air, if you happen to smoke again, we'll get reports right away. If a report comes in, is there a reward?"
To which Sung Tae responded, "If a report comes in about me smoking, I'll come here with that person. I'll buy them pork belly," making everyone laugh.
