G-Dragon has joked with Jung Hyung Don about his copyright royalties.

On an online forum, netizens reacted to a clip from Jung Hyung Don's YouTube channel featuring G-Dragon as a guest. Known for their great chemistry and long-standing friendship since the days of 'Infinite Challenge,' the two did not disappoint viewers. Jung Hyung Don showed his usual candid comfort around the Big Bang member, and G-Dragon responded with the same ease.

In the clip, Jung Hyung Don reflects on why interacting with G-Dragon always feels "effortless," despite the idol’s massive celebrity status. He jokingly suggested that perhaps it’s because they could be considered "rivals," given that Jung Hyung Don has written lyrics for about 40 songs under the comedic duo act Hyungdon and Daejun.

In response, G-Dragon gave a silent clap, prompting Jung Hyung Don to reveal that he does receive around 49,000 KRW (~35 USD) in monthly royalties for those songs.

Hearing the figure, G-Dragon suddenly turned to him and quipped, "Is that some kind of monthly subscription fee?"
