
Renowned fighter Choo Sung Hoon has shared the heartbreaking news of losing a close companion.
On May 20, Choo took to social media to express his grief, writing, “My beloved younger brother has gone to heaven,” announcing the passing of someone dear to him.
Reflecting on their time together, Choo wrote, “He was a precious younger brother with whom I sweated through judo training and later walked the path of mixed martial arts side by side.” His message recalled fond memories of their shared journey in the world of combat sports.
Paying tribute, he added, “Rest peacefully in heaven! When we meet again, let’s train together, reminisce about the old days, and have drinks like we used to.”
Choo Sung Hoon is married to Japanese model Shiho Yano, and they have a daughter, Sarang, who captured hearts worldwide through her television appearances. Recently, Choo has been actively engaging with fans through his YouTube channel, gaining affection for his candid and warm personality.
In addition to his online presence, Choo continues to appear on television. He is scheduled to feature on the May 22 broadcast of the MBC variety show 'Where is My Home.'
