BTS’s Jin surprised fans across the world last week by hosting guest Tom Cruise on his show, ‘Run Jin.’ On May 12, it was revealed that the actor would be appearing soon on a future episode of Jin’s variety show ‘Run Jin,’ as Tom Cruise had recently arrived in Korea to promote his upcoming film ‘Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.’
While the unexpected collaboration was already exciting news, Jin has now revealed even more behind-the-scenes details of how the collaboration came to be. Jin explained that Tom Cruise’s team had initially reached out to Jin’s team, asking if it would be possible for Tom Cruise to appear as a guest star on Jin’s show. In response, Jin promised that it would be arranged.
Jin also revealed that he ended up getting to see a special pre-screening of the new Mission Impossible movie, before its release in theaters.
In addition, Tom Cruise recently expressed his admiration for BTS and Jin himself, while confirming that he would appear on Jin’s show. In a recent interview, Tom Cruise stated that BTS was “very talented, very talented. It's fun to watch man, and they work hard. That's a lot of talent. It's cool.”
