Actor Uhm Tae Woong is currently undergoing treatment following a serious leg injury, according to a recent update shared by his wife, Yoon Hye Jin.
On May 30, Yoon posted several photos on social media with the caption, “May. Didn’t realize she was copying mom behind Uhm♥ So cute…” The photos show Uhm lying in a hospital bed wearing a patient gown, receiving medical treatment.
In one of the photos, Uhm's leg is heavily wrapped in a thick cast and brace, indicating the severity of the injury. Another image shows him resting in a wheelchair, hinting at limited mobility. He appears to be quietly spending time in the hospital room, looking at his phone while recovering.
A black-and-white photo captures Uhm with a pained expression, further evoking concern among fans.
After seeing the photos, netizens expressed their sympathy and concern, commenting, “How did this happen?”, “So heartbreaking,” and “Wishing him a speedy recovery.”
Uhm Tae Woong made his acting debut in 2001 through the drama 'Sang Doo! Let’s Go to School' and has since earned acclaim for his performances across various television dramas and films.
