Previously this week, rumors began circulating that the singer WOODZ and the late actress Kim Sae Ron had dated for a period of time during 2021-2022. To support this theory, YouTuber Lee Jin Ho pointed to evidence such as the two stars 'liking' each other's social media posts, taking pictures together, and Kim Sae Ron allegedly sending a coffee cart to the filming set of one of WOODZ's music videos.
Lee Jin Ho also claimed that Kim Sae Ron's DUI incident was partially a result of her breakup with WOODZ, as he claims that the actress went out for drinks while heartbroken from the end of her relationship with WOODZ.
Now, WOODZ's agency Edam Entertainment has published their official statement on the matter. The company stated:
"Since it is a private matter, we cannot verify it."
The agency's ambiguous response to the allegations has drawn mixed reactions from netizens. While some are criticizing the lack of information provided, others approve of the agency's respect for the personal lives of its artists.
Meanwhile, WOODZ is currently serving his mandatory military service, and will be discharged on July 21, 2025.
