An exhibition celebrating BTS member J-Hope’s solo journey will open in Seoul next month.
Titled ‘AND WHAT?’, the exhibition will run from May 30th to June 22nd at AK PLAZA Hongdae’s 17th floor in Mapo-gu, Seoul. The showcase will delve into J-Hope’s creative evolution as a solo artist, highlighting his music, documentaries, and world tour milestones.
The title ‘AND WHAT?’ reflects J-Hope’s multifaceted identity that defies easy categorization, while also posing a question about what comes next in his artistic path.
The exhibition will spotlight groundbreaking moments in his career, such as being the first Korean artist to headline the main stage at Lollapalooza Chicago in 2022, and becoming the first Korean soloist to perform at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles during his ongoing ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’ tour.
Visitors will be able to explore immersive spaces that visually interpret J-Hope’s signature energy and artistic vision. The exhibition will also feature personal items including his microphone, in-ear monitors, and stage outfits worn in music videos and concept photos.
Through this retrospective, fans can trace J-Hope’s journey beyond performance — as a creative force in music and culture — and gain insight into the philosophy behind his solo artistry and the promise of what lies ahead.
