In a recent YouTube short video, IU holds up a tablet with the screen reflecting her YouTube subscriber stats in real time. As the numbers inch towards 10 million subscribers, IU gets excited. Accompanied by her manager, they celebrate the new achievement milestone with car honks and clapping.
IU thanks her subscribers and promises to bring more interesting content to the fans through her channel. IU also playfully thanks the fans repeatedly, updating the number along with the number changes in real time, with “Thank you for 10 million and 13 subscribers”, followed by “Thank you for 10 million and 15 subscribers,” which leads her manager to comment that the video cannot end if she keeps updating it.
