Actor Chun Jung Myung has revealed his sincere feelings toward lawyer Lee Yoo Jin, expressing heartfelt affection as he asked her out again following their initial meeting.
On the April 21 episode of tvN STORY’s reality program 'Never Late for Love,' Chun Jung Myung was seen making his final choice after completing five blind dates. Ultimately, he selected Lee Yoo Jin, the very first person he had been introduced to on the show.
“I wanted to approach her as just Jung Myung, the person, not the actor,” he confessed. “Out of everyone I met, she made my heart flutter the most.” Recalling their first encounter, he added, "Her radiant smile and kind presence were genuinely uplifting. The positive energy she exuded made me feel instantly at ease."
Lee Yoo Jin responded with a smile of her own, saying, “I wanted to see you again, too.”
She also candidly shared her thoughts about the delay in his follow-up. “As time passed, I tried not to get my hopes up. I did wonder why it took so long,” she said. Chun Jung Myung explained, “I tend to be cautious when making decisions. That’s why it took time.”
The two also revealed they had watched each other’s episodes. Lee asked playfully, “Did you see the comments saying we look good together?” Chun Jung Myung chuckled, replying, “There were quite a few of those.”
However, Lee also opened up about the downside of public attention. “There were a lot of positive comments, but a few were hurtful,” she admitted. “They weren’t extreme, but they did cause stress. At one point, I even thought about collecting them all and filing a lawsuit,” she said with a laugh.
Chun Jung Myung responded with a sincere apology: “That breaks my heart. I’m sorry you had to go through that.” He added, “I’ve become somewhat numb to those things, but knowing you were stressed about it pains me.”
The episode touched viewers with the pair’s gentle and thoughtful interaction, raising anticipation for how their relationship might blossom in the future.
