The late Sulli's older brother has been receiving backlash after revealing details about his sister's private life, mentioning names of colleagues from the entertainment industry.
On April 2, Sulli’s older brother posted on his social media account, directly naming some of his late sister’s colleagues in the entertainment industry.
He claimed that Kim Soo Hyun, Lee Sa Rang (also known as Lee Ro Be), YouTuber Lee Jin Ho, and Kim Sae Ron’s former manager were at the center of the incident, while also mentioning other celebrities.
Regarding IU, Sulli's older brother said, "She was acquainted with Kim Soo Hyun, rejected the lead role in 'Real,' then passed the script to Sulli." He also garnered attention by mentioning the late Goo Hara and the late Kim Sae Ron after referencing Sulli.
Additionally, he mentioned Sulli’s ex-boyfriend, Choiza, during a live broadcast and further stirred controversy by revealing that his sister had dated P.O. before dating Choiza.
In response, P.O.’s agency, Artist Company, stated, "This is a personal matter, so we cannot confirm anything."
In response to the brother’s actions, some netizens continue to express their support for the late Sulli while also criticizing him, saying, "Would Sulli have wanted this?", "It's unsettling to see someone freely disclosing the past of someone who is no longer here," and "What exactly do you want by bringing up her colleagues whom she cherished?"
