Fans of 'Hospital Playlist' are buzzing with excitement after it was revealed that beloved couple Yang Seok Hyung (played by Kim Dae Myung) and Chu Min Ha (played by Ahn Eun Jin) are officially married—at least in the series’ universe.

On April 7th KST, the production team of Hospital Playlist teased the upcoming premiere of the spin-off series 'Resident Playbook', by launching an official Yulje Hospital website via the show’s social media channels.

Alongside updates from new characters and familiar 99s-line professors, the biggest surprise was found in the “Alumni News” section: a post titled “[Workplace Announcement] OB-GYN’s ‘Bear Couple’ finally getting married?!”

The post reads, “We’ve got such wonderful news! Yulje OB-GYN’s iconic couple Yang Seok Hyung and Chu Min Ha are finally tying the knot!” It continues, “Huge congratulations to the couple. Wishing you a happy and fulfilling married life!”

Though the couple ended season 2 on a hopeful note, fans were uncertain whether Seok Hyung’s complicated family dynamics—especially his mother’s disapproval—would prevent marriage. Now, nearly four years after season 2 wrapped, this surprise announcement has fans both thrilled and curious.

Viewers responded with comments like, “How did he get his mom’s approval?!”, “Does this mean season 3 is coming?”, and “This has to be more than a website gag—maybe they’re making a cameo in the spin-off?”

Indeed, Ahn Eun Jin was previously confirmed to make a special appearance in Resident Playbook, fueling speculation that both she and Kim Dae Myung may return briefly to show their married life as part of the spinoff’s storyline.

Resident Playbook will premiere on April 12th, centering on a new group of residents at Yulje Hospital as they navigate the turbulent journey of medical training, growth, and friendship.
