Park Shin Hye is set to take on the role of an elite Securities and Futures Commission supervisor in her next drama.
After receiving widespread acclaim for her performance in last year’s SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Judge from Hell'—which earned her the Director’s Award at the SBS Drama Awards—Park Shin Hye has chosen 'Miss Undercover Boss' as her next project. According to industry insiders, while she has yet to officially sign the contract, she has reportedly reached a tentative agreement to star in the series.
Miss Undercover Boss is a retro office comedy set in the late 1990s, during the height of the IMF crisis. The drama follows, a 35-year-old elite Securities and Futures Commission supervisor, who is entirely dedicated to her job. Using her naturally youthful appearance, she goes undercover as a 20-year-old high school graduate employee at a securities firm under suspicion of handling illicit funds. The drama will be directed by Park Seon Ho (Office Matchmaking, Drunk Romance) and written by Moon Hyun Kyung (The Ballot), with Celltrion overseeing production.
Park Shin Hye will bring humor and excitement to the role as she navigates the drastic transformation from a fierce financial regulator to a fresh-faced office worker handling menial tasks. Despite her new persona, she remains a veteran supervisor at heart, setting out to take down financial criminals in spectacular fashion. The drama is scheduled to air on tvN in the first half of 2026.
