Actress Kim Hee Sun opened up about the malicious comments her daughter received after revealing her face on a broadcast. It was revealed that Kim Hee Sun expressed heartbreak after seeing the negative comments about her daughter.
Recently, an online community post titled, 'An actress considered moving overseas after receiving hate comments about her daughter,' resurfaced. The post revisited an episode of SBS's 'Healing Camp, Aren't You Happy?' where Kim Hee Sun shared her emotional struggles over the malicious comments directed at her daughter.
Kim Hee Sun tearfully recalled, “People on the internet left cruel comments about my daughter’s appearance, which deeply hurt me. I even considered emigrating. My daughter had to endure such comments simply because I am Kim Hee Sun, and I couldn’t help but feel sorry. To me, she is the most beautiful girl in the world.”
Her daughter, now 16 years old, was reportedly a gifted child who passed multiple talent exams at the age of six. She is currently studying abroad in Singapore, drawing attention for her striking resemblance to her mother, her tall stature, and her impeccable fashion sense.
Kim Hee Sun made her debut in 1993 with the drama 'Dinosaur Teacher.' At the time, she gained fame as the “Computer Beauty” and went on to star in numerous films, including 'Ghost in Love,' 'Out Live,' 'Wanee & Junah,' and 'Honey Sweet.' She has also left a strong impression with her performances in dramas such as 'Chunhyang,' 'Men of the Bathhouse,' 'Propose,' 'Forever Yours,' 'Mister Q,' 'Sunflower,' 'Tomato,' 'Wonderful Days,' 'The Lady in Dignity,' and 'Bitter Sweet Hell.'
In 2006, Kim Hee Sun married Park Joo Young, a businessman three years her senior, whom she met through a mutual acquaintance.
Currently, Park Joo Young operates a high-end aesthetic salon in Gangnam and is actively engaged in the cosmetics trade and Korean tourism product development in China. Demonstrating his affection for his wife, he even named a company, Hee Sun Cultural Exchange Co., Ltd., after her.
