Dex made a surprise appearance on the March 30th episode of KBS 2TV’s ‘2 Days & 1 Night Season 4’, and jokingly threatened to take over Kim Jong Min’s spot as he prepares for a temporary break due to his upcoming wedding.
In the episode, the final part of the members' “KBS Castaway Journey” unfolded across various parts of the KBS building. Dex, appearing as a special guest and a friend of DinDin.
Earlier in the show, Jo Se Ho brought up Kim Jong Min’s wedding and hinted at a vacancy on the cast, saying, “There’s about to be an open spot,” and expressed interest in recruiting Dex. Dex responded positively and playfully said he was open to joining, creating a lighthearted moment as if he were “threatening” Kim Jong Min’s position.
After filming wrapped up, Dex shared, “It was an honor to appear on ‘2 Days & 1 Night,’ a show I admired since I was young,” and added, “I think I was able to show my true personality thanks to my friend.”
He then said, “Let me know when Jong Min hyung is taking a break,” causing the cast members to laugh and eagerly chime in, “Please come on in April!”
Kim Jong Min, aware of the teasing, laughed and said, “Come when I’m not here,” drawing more laughter from the group.
