According to media outlet reports on March 14 KST, a mediation session between divorced couple Choi Minhwan and Yulhee was held at the Seoul Family Court earlier this week on March 12. The two sides failed to reach an agreement, suggesting that the matter will go to court.
Previously, Choi Minhwan and Yulhee reached a divorce settlement in December of 2023. At the time, both sides agreed not to claim alimony or property, with full custody and parental rights granted to Choi Minhwan.
However, in October of 2024, Yulhee publicly accused Choi Minhwan of soliciting illegal prostitution services while they were married. Choi Minhwan was then booked for investigation, but the investigation ultimately concluded without charges pressed due to lack of evidence. Shortly following her accusations, Yulhee decided to pursue custody over her children again, additionally demanding alimony and property from Choi Minhwan.
Choi Minhwan and Yulhee, who married in 2018, have a son and two daughter.
