BLACKPINK's Jennie recently filmed for 'The Jennifer Hudson Show,' which is set to air on March 10.
On March 2, Jennifer Hudson uploaded a preview clip of Jennie's interview on the show where she shared details of her upcoming solo album 'Ruby.' In the short preview clip, Jennie briefly revealed that she wants to focus on her music career for now. When Jennifer asked, "Can we expect to see any more acting from you in the near future at all?" Jennie replied, "Definitely yes, but I want to focus on my album just now."
Jennie confessed that she has no room to think about other projects as of now while preparing for her solo album. Although Jennie explained, "I definitely love watching movies so much, and every time I watch a new movie I would be inspired by the character in the movie and I'm always thinking what would it be like if I played that character. I think about it a lot but to be honest, for the past year and a half, I've been so focused on being inspired for this album that I have no brain energy left to think about which character I want to play."
Jennie even gave a sneak peek of the choreography of one of the dance tracks from her album. She delved deep into the production process and revealed that she had extensive participation. Jennie said, "If the songs weren't written by me, like the whole song, I worked with the songwriters that I'm personally close with. They're all my friends so they get me. They hear my story and they're inspired by my stories and that's how this album was put together."
