Sunggyu to resume activities with INFINITE at 15th Anniversary Concert in Hong Kong next week

INFINITE announced on February 22 that the group would temporarily halt all promotion for their 8th mini-album following the death of Sunggyu's older sister. In light of the tragedy, the group canceled performances in Kuala Lumpur.

Then on February 25, INFINITE Company announced the group would resume activities after careful discussion starting with their 15th Anniversary Concert in Hong Kong. The label explained, "After careful discussions with the artist, he is scheduled to resume activities starting with the 2024 - 2025 INFINITE 15th ANNIVERSARY CONCERT ‘LIMITED EDITION’ IN HONG KONG on Saturday, March 1. Additionally, all previously paused content and social media uploads will gradually resume."

Meanwhile, INFINITE has been preparing for their highly anticipated comeback with 'Like INFINITE' on March 8. However, the group had to halt activities following the tragic news of Sunggyu's older sister.

This is INFINITE Company.

Sunggyu is currently spending time in mourning, surrounded by his family, close acquaintances, and INFINITE members, after completing the funeral proceedings for the deceased earlier today (25th).

We sincerely appreciate everyone who has expressed their condolences and would like to provide an update regarding Sunggyu’s upcoming activities and content schedule.

After careful discussions with the artist, he is scheduled to resume activities starting with the 2024 - 2025 INFINITE 15th ANNIVERSARY CONCERT ‘LIMITED EDITION’ IN HONG KONG on Saturday, March 1. Additionally, all previously paused content and social media uploads will gradually resume.
