Park Hyo Shin revealed some behind-the-scenes stories from ‘Winter Ahead’ MV with BTS’s V
On the January 6th KST broadcast of MBC FM4U’s ‘Kim Eana’s Starry Night,’ singer Park Hyo Shin shared intriguing stories about the making of his song ‘Winter Ahead’ and his collaboration with BTS’s V.
Host Kim Eana introduced the collaboration, saying, “Both of you are known for being selective with collaborations, but this song seems to have come purely from your friendship.” Park Hyo Shin confirmed, “That’s right. There was no specific agenda. We just started talking about music during our meetings and naturally ended up working together.”
He further explained, “At first, V mentioned needing help with his solo album. As we discussed ideas, we thought, ‘Why not sing it together?’ And that’s how it happened.”
When asked about the music video shoot, Park Hyo Shin laughed as he recounted, “There was a bit of the usual awkwardness that comes with filming, but between us, there was no discomfort. It was genuinely like hanging out—we ate, drank wine, and talked. In the latter part of the MV, you’ll notice the wine changes from white to red. That’s because we drank all the white wine during filming!” He joked, “I’m the type to get flushed with just a sip, but thankfully, the lighting hid it.”
The collaboration highlights the unique bond and musical synergy between the two artists, making ‘Winter Ahead’ a standout project.
