Actor Song Joong Ki is set to appear as a guest on the second recording of JTBC's variety show 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator' today (December 9th). The episode is scheduled to air on December 29th.
This marks Song Joong Ki’s first official appearance on a domestic variety show in nearly nine years. Aside from brief appearances in VCR interviews, his last formal variety show participation was in January 2016 during SBS’s 'Running Man' Shanghai special, where he appeared alongside soccer player Park Ji Sung.
Fans are eager to see whether Song Joong Ki will share stories about his personal life, particularly his journey as a father of two. Last year, he married British actress Katy Louise Saunders, welcoming their first son, and recently announced the birth of their second child, a daughter.
'Take Care of My Fridge' originally aired from 2014 to 2019 and gained immense popularity for sparking the "chef-tainer" trend in Korea. The show’s unique concept of transferring a guest’s refrigerator contents to the studio and having chefs create dishes in just 15 minutes made it a hit.
Returning for its 10th anniversary, the revamped 'PLease Take Care of My Fridge' will premiere on December 15th.
