NINE.i's Jewon begins mandatory military service starting January 2025

On December 26, the agency of NINE.i announced that member Jewon will soon begin fulfilling his mandatory military service. Jewon’s deferment period will officially conclude on January 14, 2025, marking the next chapter in his journey as he prepares to serve his country.

In a formal statement, the agency addressed fans, saying:

"Hello, this is NINE.İ.

Our member, Jewon, will fulfill his mandatory military service as his deferment period expires on January 14, 2025.

Although the exact enlistment date has not been determined yet, we are informing you in advance that there will be restrictions on his participation in NINE.I's overseas activities after the deferment period ends."

Jewon has been an integral part of NINE.i, showcasing his talents and charisma on stage and building meaningful connections with fans worldwide. While this news may bring a mix of emotions for fans, his decision to fulfill his duty is being met with understanding and respect.
