Singer Lee Seung Chul has decided to postpone his concert to observe the national mourning period following the tragic Jeju Air accident at Muan International Airport.
On December 31st KST, his agency LSC announced: “Due to the national mourning period declared in light of the Jeju Air tragedy at Muan International Airport, we have decided to reschedule the January 4th (Saturday) concert to March 22nd (Saturday). This decision was made to express our solidarity with the national grief.”
The agency added: “While a concert is an important promise to many, we carefully considered the current circumstances where the nation is engulfed in sorrow. We concluded that neither the performers nor the audience could fully enjoy the event during such a time.”
This comes after Lee Seung Chul canceled his December 28th concert at the BEXCO Auditorium in Busan due to testing positive for Type A influenza.
The agency further explained: “The seating arrangements and ticket details for the original date will remain valid for the rescheduled event. We kindly ask fans to take care of their tickets.”
