Kang Seung Yoon of WINNER will be discharged from his mandatory military service today (December 19 KST), becoming the third member of his group to complete his mandatory duties.
Previously, Kang Seung Yoon enlisted as an active duty soldier in June of 2023. After completing his basic training, the idol was assigned to the 6th Infantry Division in Cheorwon-gun. In particular, Kang Seung Yoon made headlines for several of his achievements during his mandatory service, including receiving a Presidential Commendations as an Excellent New Recruit and being recognized with the Top Officer Award by the Army Chief of Staff for his service.
Meanwhile, fellow WINNER member Song Min Ho will conclude his mandatory duties as a public service worker next week on December 23 KST.
