BTS V's (Kim Taehyung) 'Winter Ahead (with Park Hyo Shin)' achieves biggest jazz song debut in Spotify history

On November 29, Kim Taehyung, aka V of BTS, released his new digital single, Winter Ahead, a collaboration with renowned ballad singer and close friend Park Hyo Shin.

The jazz pop track invites listeners to paradise, reminding them that simply being with someone you love can feel like heaven, even amidst raging storms and changing seasons. 

The duo celebrated the release of  Winter Ahead with an Instagram post showcasing their friendship as they played outdoors in the snow, wearing red coats.

On it's release day, Winter Ahead debuted at #15 on the Global Spotify chart with 4.2M streams, and a total of 5.5M streams on the Spotify counter. 

With 5.5 million streams, Winter Ahead has set a new record as the biggest debut for a jazz song in Spotify history. 

Additionally, the Winter Ahead marks a significant milestone for Park Hyo Shin, earning him his first-ever entry on the Global Spotify Chart.
