At the '2024 The Fact Music Awards,' NewJeans won four awards, and during one of their acceptance speeches, they thanked Min Hee Jin, the former CEO of ADOR under HYBE Labels. During the speech, member Danielle stated:
"We truly love and thank CEO Min Hee Jin, who always cherishes and protects us."
The other members of NewJeans clapped and nodded in agreement as Danielle delivered her message. On community forums, the group received significant support for their continued success, though many expressed surprise at their use of the title "CEO" to refer to Min Hee Jin. Opinions remain divided in the comments section regarding continued support for Min Hee Jin herself.
Previously, over a thousand NewJeans fans sent a letter to HYBE, demanding Min Hee Jin's reinstatement as CEO of ADOR. Currently, Kim Joo Young serves as the CEO of ADOR, and HYBE's newly appointed CEO is Lee Jae Sang.
