According to an exclusive media outlet report on September 26 KST, NCT's Jaehyun will enlist as a member of the ROK military band in November of this year.
The idol star will enlist on November 4 to begin his basic training, before being assigned to the military band for the remainder of his mandatory service period. His discharge will be on May 3, 2026.
It's believed that Jaehyun will soon become the second member of NCT to begin his mandatory military service duties after fellow member Taeyong.
[UPDATE] SM Entertainment has officially confirmed the above report to be true. If an individual applies to fulfill his mandatory service duties through a special appointment such as a position in the military band, he must begin his enlistment by the next enlistment date available upon his application's acceptance.
