The agency announced, "We regret to inform you that TREASURE member So Jung-hwan's father passed away on August 17th. The funeral was held quietly at the request of So Jung-hwan and his family, with the presence of close family, relatives, and TREASURE members offering their condolences."
They further requested, "We kindly ask for your warm condolences and understanding as So Jung-hwan spends time mourning with his family." YG Entertainment also expressed their deep sympathy, saying, "We extend our heartfelt condolences to the deceased."
