On August 14 KST, the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association announced that "Arigato BG JAPAN," the Japanese fan club of actor Park Bo Gum, has donated 2.48 million KRW ($1826.38 USD) to aid those affected by the recent heavy rains in Korea.

The fan club made this donation in honor of Park Bo Gum's debut anniversary, expressing that the contribution holds special significance for them. They shared, "We hope this donation can offer some relief to those who are struggling daily due to the floods."

This is not the first time Arigato BG JAPAN has demonstrated their generosity. The fan club previously donated 6.16 million KRW ($4536.48 USD) during the 2022 East Coast wildfires, 2.36 million KRW ($1738 USD) for the 2023 Gangneung wildfires, and 3.67 million KRW ($2702.60 USD) for flood victims earlier this year.

Shin Hoon, Secretary-General of Hope Bridge, expressed his gratitude, saying, "We are thankful to Park Bo Gum’s fans for their thoughtful donation to comfort flood victims on this special occasion of his debut anniversary. Hope Bridge will work diligently to ensure that the positive impact of Park Bo Gum and Arigato BG JAPAN reaches those in need, helping the affected residents quickly return to their daily lives."
