Choi Woo Sik is in talks to star in the upcoming Disney+ drama 'The Waking'.
On August 7, reports stated Choi Woo Sik has been cast as the lead of the new series 'The Waking', but his label FABLE COMPANY clarified, "It's one of the projects he's been offered and is currently reviewing."
'The Waking' is the next project from Director Kim Tae Gon, who's known for the disaster thriller film 'Project Silence', and filming is set to begin soon. The series will revolve around an organization tasked with managing giants and another organization that opposes it.
If cast, Choi Woo SIk will play the role of Junho, a cold storage facility employee who lives diligently. His life gets turned upside down when he comes across a stone that gives him the ability to transform into a giant.
'The Waking' is set to premiere on Disney+ in the first half of 2025.
