iKON's Song Yun hyeong to enlist in the military
143 Entertainment announced on July 24 KST, “Member Song Yun hyeong will enter the training center on Tuesday, August 13 KST,” adding, “We ask for a lot of support and encouragement for Song Yun hyeong, who will diligently fulfill his national defense duties and return.”
According to the agency, no official event will be held on the day of his enlistment to ensure safety. The agency stated, “We ask for your understanding as he will enlist privately to prevent safety accidents due to crowding on site,” and added, “We will do our best to ensure that Song Yun hyeong spends time with iKONIC (iKON’s fandom) before his enlistment.”
