Hyeri won the Rising Star Award at the 'New York Asian Film Festival' with 'Victory.'
On July 12th, Hyeri received the Rising Star Asia Award at the 'New York Asian Film Festival' with her movie 'Victory.' The Rising Star Asia Award recognizes emerging talent from Asian cinema. Previous recipients include Kim Go Eun and more. Along with the award ceremony, 'Victory' was premiered at the festival ahead of its release in Korea.
Following the award ceremony, Hyeri updated her Instagram with the behind-the-scenes pictures at the awards show.
Meanwhile, Hyeri plays the character Pil Sun, a high school student who pacifies the troubled waters of Geoje Island with her dance skills. Pil Sun possesses a passionate determination to pursue her goals without hesitation and exudes confidence and bold charm wherever she goes.
'Victory' will hit theaters in Korea on August 14th KST.
