On July 18, Girls' Generation's Taeyeon appeared on the YouTube channel '117' in a video titled 'Making a Meal and Eat Dessert with Taeyeon l EP.18 Taeyeon's Episode.'
In the video, Taeyeon discussed her new single 'Heaven.' When Dex asked, "What kind of song is 'Heaven'?", Taeyeon explained, "Everyone has a moment that feels like 'heaven' to them, like having a beer at home after work or sharing a meal with a loved one. I wanted to express the pleasure of those moments in a song."
She added, "Watching the music video will help you understand the message more deeply. We had a lot of fun shooting it." Dex then shared, "I saw the teaser for 'Heaven.' Just from that, it seemed like a breakup between lovers, which I found hard to connect with what you're saying now."
Taeyeon clarified, "To get straight to the point, the woman in the story is a bit crazy. She pursues a man she likes, but when she gets him, she finds it boring and leaves. It's a witty take on the idea of 'heaven.'"
Dex then asked, "So this woman, who is a bit crazy, gets the man she wants and then leaves. Let me ask the official 'Dex's Fridge Interview' question: What is Taengoo's ideal type? This was all a build-up to this question! I've been wanting to ask since the new song introduction!"
Taeyeon revealed, "My ideal type is someone kind and gentle in even the small things, in their actions and words. I believe a lot is encompassed in being kind. Also, someone I can learn from." Dex asked if there were any other qualities, as these seemed to be more about inner characteristics.
Taeyeon responded, "Someone who puts me first." Dex remarked, "Aren't girlfriends supposed to be the priority?" Taeyeon explained, "There are many who aren't like that. (For example) people who live very busy lives with lots to do. When they lack free time, their girlfriend can't be their priority."
Dex summarized, "So, your ideal type is someone who is 'all in' for Taeyeon. Can you also describe your physical ideal type in detail?" Taeyeon replied, "I've mentioned this often: someone with broad, strong shoulders, and attractive eyebrows and eyes. Someone with a beautiful smile."
