Actor Kang Kyung Joon has admitted to affair allegations in court.
As previously reported, married actor Kang Kyung Joon was accused of having an affair with a married woman 'B' in December of 2023, and her husband 'A' later filed a lawsuit demanding 50 million KRW ($36,133.46 USD) in damages. 'A' claims that Kang Kyung Joon engaged in the affair knowing that 'B' was married. At the time, Kang Kyung Joon's label denied the accusations, but Telegram messages showed he had a particularly affectionate relationship with 'B.'
At the first hearing for the lawsuit on July 24, the Seoul Family Court accepted 'A's lawsuit, which means 'A' had the right to file a claim, and Kang Kyung Joon's lawyers accepted 'A's request, acknowledging the extramarital affair.
Kang Kyung Joon married actress Jang Shin Young in 2018, and they have two sons together. The family previously appeared on SBS' 'Same Bed, Different Dreams' and KBS' 'The Return of Superman'.
