Actor Byun Woo Seok cutely overwhelmed by the sheer number of fans who showed up to see him at the 'Jeonju International Film Festival'

On May 4 KST, actor Byun Woo Seok attended a meet & talk event at the '25th Jeonju International Film Festival'.

Upon appearing at the event, the very individual behind the recent 'Lovely Runner' phenomenon could not process the sheer number of fans who had shown up to see him. Originally, the event was market as an intimate meet & talk with approximately 200 attendees; however, over 900 of Byun Woo Seok's fans filled the event venue. 

When asked to greet the audiences, Byun Woo Seok stated, "In truth, there are not many opportunities for us to communicate while being in such close proximity. So to be able to come to Jeonju, to this beautiful place, and talk with you, and see you up close... I can't talk right now because I'm so nervous."

After taking a moment to catch his breath, he continued, "I feel like a space was prepared for us to talk with one another in close proximity here, so I'm very thankful and excited, and I hope that we can all enjoy this time." 

Next, Byun Woo Seok was asked if he could feel the explosive popularity of his ongoing drama series, now that he was face to face with so many of his fans. The actor responded, "I'm still so bewildered, and I'm so amazed and grateful that so many people came today." Then, when the fans began showering him with cheers, Byun Woo Seok remarked, "Wait, I forgot what the question was." 

He then went on, "Of course, I try to do my best in every production I am in. This production was also one where I strived to work hard because I really liked the character, so I'm just so thankful and amazed that so many people like the drama."
