C9 Entertainment to launch new boy group

C9 Entertainment is launching a new boy group.

C9 Entertainment is currently home to CIX, EPEX, and cignature as well as Younha and Lee Suk Hoon, and they're reported to be debuting a brand new boy group in the second half of 2025. With their debut, the new group will also be starring in an upcoming drama on Japanese network TBS.

The label stated, "Our next new boy group is debuting in the second half of 2025, and the members are appearing on a TBS primetime drama in leading roles." C9 Entertainment stated they'll be revealing more details at a later time.

They made a lot of money off Younha's Event Horizon, which is fair... But it's crazy to me that instead of using that money to turn around the fate of Cignature or choosing to better promote their TWO existing boy groups they would decide to launch yet another boy group. Seriously?
