Big Planet Made Entertainment announced on April 1st that SHINee member and solo artist Taemin has officially joined the agency through a recent exclusive contract. "We have recently signed an exclusive contract with Taemin. We will fully support his wide-ranging musical activities and do our best to ensure he can soar even higher in a broader spectrum. We ask for your continued support and love for Taemin's new start," the agency stated.
Along with this announcement, a new artist logo and profile image for Taemin were released at 8 AM KST on the same day. The stylish logo artwork and Taemin's captivating visuals have heightened anticipation for his future activities with Big Planet Made Entertainment.
Taemin is SHINee's main dancer and a leading male solo performer representing K-POP across generations. Since his debut at the age of 14 in 2008, he has been actively involved in global activities as a member of SHINee for 16 years. Beginning in 2014, as a solo artist, he has consistently released albums with a unique color, solidifying his position in the music industry.
His domestic solo albums featuring tracks such as 'Danger', 'Press Your Number', 'MOVE', 'Day and Night', 'WANT', 'Criminal', 'IDEA:理想', 'Advice', and 'Guilty' have proven Taemin's unique abilities and identity, receiving hot topics and critical acclaim from global music fans with every performance.
Embarking on a new challenge with Big Planet Made Entertainment, Taemin is set to once again serve as a trendsetter in K-POP.
