On March 27 KST, it was reported that Ahreum, a former member of the girl group T-ara, had been hospitalized following a purported suicide attempt in the early hours of the morning.

The situation escalated when Ahreum made allegations of abuse by her ex-husband, revealing distressing images of bruises on her children's bodies as evidence.
On March 25 KST, Areum further disclosed instances of domestic violence, sharing a photo of her face bearing scars while wearing a torn dress.
