The virtual boy group was among the top 5 nominees for this week's MBC M's music show 'Show Champion.' PLAVE was up against strong contenders including BIBI with "Bam Yang Gang," LE SSERAFIM's "EASY", NCT Taeyong's "TAP", and CRAVITY's "Love or Die."
To many fans' surprise, PLAVE's "WAY 4 LUV" was announced as the winning song of this week.
Korean netizens were impressed with the results and commented, "Congrats to all of them," "The song's so good," "They deserved the win," "Congrats!!!" "Wow, finally," "I'm so happy for them," "I think a virtual idol group was a good opportunity for the idol group members that didn't make it big in real life," "This is so crazy, congrats to them," and "Let's go!"

I used to criticize this group too but gave them a listen and their music is actually really GOOD. "Way 4 Luv" is such a great song, their award is deserved! Would rather see the people behind the characters though and have them be accepted for who they are. Apparently the guys are earlier gen Kpop stars, who get to continue their craft, share their gorgeous voices and not get shallowly judged for their appearance.
