Actress Cho Yeo Jeong is reportedly in talks to take on a role in MBC's upcoming historical drama 'Scent of Plum Blossoms' (literal title). The series explores Joseon's Hyangbang culture, focusing on the powerful Hyangbang Nine, trusted confidants to the royal family.
In the drama, Cho Yeo Jeong portrays Park Mi Ryeong, a herbalist who becomes entangled in palace politics after succumbing to temptation. This marks her first foray into historical drama in 12 years since 'The Concubine' in 2012.
Returning to MBC after 18 years since 'So In Love', Cho Yeo Jeong's comeback promises to captivate viewers with her portrayal in 'Scent of Plum Blossoms'. Alongside her drama role, she also has projects lined up in U+Mobile TV's 'Tarot' and films 'Hidden Face' and 'The Interview'.
