BLACKPINK's Rose shares a photo in the studio, gets ready to bring new music

AKP STAFF

In a recent Instagram post, BLACKPINK's Rose has set the K-pop fandom abuzz by dropping an exciting photo.

On January 11, Rose heightened the excitement among fans by sharing a snapshot of a studio mixer on her Instagram story, sparking speculation and anticipation surrounding the possibility of her delving into the creation of fresh, upcoming music.

While it's confirmed that Rosé has signed a "group deal" with YG Entertainment to continue her involvement in BLACKPINK's group activities, there has been no official announcement regarding the status of her solo contract. In October 2023, Rosé garnered significant attention following her meeting with Ron Fay, the CEO and chairman of Columbia Records. As a prominent label within Sony Music, Columbia Records boasts an impressive roster, including Adele and Beyoncé. Additonally, famous international music producers followed Rosé's social media account, leading to rumors that she is working on an album with overseas producers. The four individuals who followed Rosé's social media account are Canadian singer-songwriter and music producer Shaun Frank, American music producer and music production company owner Rob Bissell, American singer-songwriter Drashii and Gian Stone.

The photo of the studio mixer interface displayed the name "Rosie," and fans are left wondering about the new musical landscape she will be exploring next. They are excited to hear more news on Rose's new music and gathered in an online community to share their joy.

They commented, "I can't believe Rose only has three solo songs released during the seven years...And they don't even affect the group's performance. But now Rose is free...so f***n happy," "I'm so excited. I was waiting for Rose's new music," "One of the things on Rose's bucket list was releasing lots of songs and now she's really going to release them," "I was expecting Rose to release more songs," "It's so cute that the mixer says ROSIE on it," "Finally, please release fast," and "I'm looking forward to this so much."

ive seen this news on other forums but I'm still very excited for her solo debut! YG held her back for years and it showed when she debuted her solo album of the immense creativity and writing skills she has. I wish the best for her and cant wait to see her projects!

Why the duplicate article? There was an article about this news already 8 hours ago, LOL.🤣

Well, you should ask this from Blinks! Also, it's not like her co-members released more songs. Neither of them released more than 3 solo songs, that's YG for ya'll.😅
