On January 3 KST, it was reported that actor Kang Kyung Joon is facing a lawsuit for damages amounting to 50 million won, filed against him on December 26. The plaintiff has accused Kang Kyung Joon of committing adultery with his wife.
The plaintiff explained the grounds for the lawsuit, stating, "Kang Kyung Joon's involvement as an adulterous party led to the virtual destruction of our family."
Kang Kyung Joon's side has yet to respond to these allegations, and as of now, the actor's agency remains unreachable.
KBS 2TV's 'The Return of Superman,' a program featuring Kang Kyung Joon, has issued a statement in response to the allegations, saying, "We became aware of the accusations against Kang Kyung Joon through news reports. We are currently conducting an internal investigation to better understand the situation."
Kang Kyung Joon married Jang Shin Young in 2018, and the couple has two sons who regularly feature in 'Return of Superman'.
